Finished Size: 8" x 10"
Our original design for a trio of dimensional hydrangea blooms inspired by my sister-in-law's gardens! Whenever I travel home to New England, I am shown all the new plantings and new bloom colors in her yard, including deep pinky-purples and a variety of blues.
This pattern includes instructions and fabric requirements to make blooms with just one fabric per bloom or a combination of two fabrics per bloom, as shown in both photo options to print!
With simple wool applique and embroidery stitches, these blooms work up quickly to become a framed piece of art, a pillow or a small wall hanging. Pattern includes full-scale pattern pieces and a drawn layout, drawings of all embroidery stitches used in this design (and more!), complete step by step instructions, supplies list with sizes and colors of wool pieces used in original design, a list of The Caron Collection Wildlflower threads and Valdani Pearl Cotton and embroidery threads used in original design (for both color versions) and a list of miscellaneous supplies.
Made from felted wool fabrics (hand-dyed and off the bolt) and stitched exclusively with The Caron Collection Wildflower threads and Valdani threads.
